Reviews

This is a small museum, as you would expect in a small town, but it is really good. It seems to cover pretty much everything from geology and palaeontology right through to the modern day. I know it's a cliché but it really does have something for just about everybody. Do give it a look.

The Wellingborough Museum occupies an atmospheric building adjacent to The Castle Theatre. There's lots to see on two levels and an attractive snacks/coffee area downstairs next to a representation of Dulleys Baths complete with model of bather about to dive in. There's also a well stocked shop for souvenirs of various kinds. Old Wellingborough folk will enjoy a trip down memory lane whilst newer townspeople can learn more of Wellingborough's rich and fascinating history. It's free admission with free parking at The Castle and on broad local streets.
