We are a Seven Times VOWS Award Nominated Bridal Shop based on the Helensburgh seafront offering unequalled customer service in a friendly spacious bridal store with surprisingly affordable gowns.

Stunning Shop. Got my Bridesmaid and Flower Girl dresses here.  KJ and her staff are fab. Great chat, great help, great service. She listened to exactly what i had in mind. Dresses were stunning. They defo know their stuff

All the girls at the wedding planner were amazing from start to finish! Through the tears of joy,  it was the best experience from start to finish!  Would highly recommend anyone looking to find their dream dress to visit the wedding planner as I was able to customise and change parts I liked/ didn’t like as much.  The best team

My fiancé had always been looking forward to visiting the wedding planner one day and to hopefully buy her wedding dress from there. However unfortunately the owner did not live up to the enticing shopfront.  She was very obnoxious, flat out refusing to let my fiancé try on the dresses she had in mind as ‘she wouldn’t suit them’ and the owner arrogantly kept stating what wedding dress she needed. She also kept telling my fiancés friend to remain quiet and had her in tears when she attempted to talk about the dresses.  They went to the fitting appointment expecting it to be dedicated to the bride to be, however the owner kept disappearing to other people in the shop and to make phone-calls. After speaking to other people since the fitting, who have also been there, it seems unfortunately they have had similar experiences. I would not recommend getting your wedding dress form here.

First ever time trying on a Wedding dress and I chose here as I met the girls at an open day at our venue a few months ago. I've absolutely fell in love with a dress and I can wait to return in November and try it again to see if I'm committed to saying YES! The girls were fab, very funny and made my whole group feel welcomed and excited for me. Highly recommended!

Absolutely lovely visit and found a beautiful dress with these lovely ladies. They helped me with my anxiety and put me at ease. We were visiting family and are from miles away in Lincolnshire but it was worth every mile to get a dress here.

What can I say absolutely out of this world service and quality. I got my wedding dress here back in 2017. Kj and her staff were so helpful, knowledgeable and caring that I felt so at home trying on dresses and found the 1 much to kjs help. Kj also came over and dressed me for my big day and added laughter and help that was very well received even running down ailse to make sure I was still perfect after my shoe got stuck.  Nothing is ever a bother and kj bends over backwards to help opening up on a Sunday to allow my 88 year old gran come along. Kj got me a vail and flowers for trying on my dress for a fitting to allow my gran to get a photo with me in my dress. Something at the time I never thought about but how previous that photo was as my gran passed away 5 weeks before my wedding but I have a pic of us together in my dress that I will treasure forever . I can't thank you enough kj. All brides and bridesmaid and prom dresses I'd totally recommend kj and the wedding planner. You won't be disappointed. 5 stars isn't enough for this shop xx

**Horrendous service** I bought my wedding dress from The Wedding Planner in Helensburgh and despite the beautiful appearance of the shop I would not recommend it to any brides looking for a stress free service. I got married in July, upon advice from the owner I booked my first 'fitting' appointment for the 24th May 21. However, due to contracting coronavirus I was unable to attend and contacted the shop to let them know. When I was out of the isolation period I made another appointment and attended for my first fitting. When I arrived for the evening appointment, the owner of the shop pinned the dressed and took pictures for her seamstress on an ipad.... she said her seamstress worked in Glasgow and my dress would be taken to her that week for alterations to be made. After leaving the appointment, I had messaged the owner via Facebook asking for a quote for alterations like many brides I had a spreadsheet to keep track of expenditure I received a response confirming the price for the alterations that were required. I received a call from the shop to arrange my second fitting, when I attended my dress didn't fit at all and I was told it was because it was a 'couture gown' and it would never be comfortable. I couldn't lift the dress above my hips so unless i planned on not doing the toilet for a full day then it needed altered again. Subsequently I attended a further 4 appointments, 2 of which were on 1 day which caused a huge amount of inconvenience as I live almost an hour from Helensburgh. I never once received an apology from the owner for the hassle this caused and to add insult to injury she attempted to charge me almost double despite the fact my body shape remained the same as it was on the first fitting. When I questioned why the quote had almost doubled I was faced with hostility and a horrendous attitude from the owner. It was suggested I had to attend an excessive amount of times because I had had covid... I was made to feel like a lepar as according to KJ none of her staff wanted to be near me despite the fact I was no longer contagious and was 1 week outwith my isolation period. I did not see a seamstress until the 4th fitting, and the seamstress I seen had only just been employed by the owner. I believe the owner had attempted the alterations herself, hence why I had to attend so many times. There is clearly an issue within the wedding planner, despite the over the top, disingenuous behaviour of the owner, 3 members of staff left within a very short period of time and there was evidently ill feeling from the staff towards the owner. This was an extremely stressful situation and I would hate another bride to have to experience the same as what I did. Picking up your dress before your wedding is one of the things a bride looks forward to, I wasn't able to experience this as I didn't want to be anywhere near the owner of the shop again.

I wasn't a bride but was the bridesmaid! I visited the shop 3 times in total and the staff were EXCEPTIONAL. There is nothing they wouldn't do for the bridal party and they really were the experts. We were made to feel special the all the staff understood our own personal insecurities and put us at ease, which is a hard job! I couldn't recommend the shop more, they really know what they are talking about and we really enjoyed visiting the shop. Wedding was a massive success and the bride looked exceptional on the day! Thank you to all the staff for their exceptional service!
