Really good. Been doing treatments there since 2020 and lately this year I came all the time, especially Benin is really good and nice. Good quality of waxing as well, and they do the best eyebrows.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting The Waxing Studio for a full body wax, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was unwelcoming, with the reception staff appearing completely indifferent to my presence. The real horror began when I was ushered into the treatment room which was very small and it was a very hot day in the day I arrived and there was not even a fan in the room. The waxing technician was not only rude but also exuded negativity throughout the entire session. She complained incessantly about her day/life and seemed to take her frustrations out on me. As if her demeanor wasn't bad enough, the actual waxing process was excruciating. She handled me roughly, causing purple bruises to form on my skin in several areas. Her lack of finesse and care was evident, leaving me in pain long after I left the salon. She also missed multiple hairs and I was trying to hold friendly chat in which she would give blunt answers and act like she didn’t want to speak to me. I left feeling sticky and uncomfortable from the experience as she didn’t bother to remove wax off areas on my body or even provide me with anything to take this off myself. She clearly stated that she hates her job and is only doing it for some money. Overall, my experience at The Waxing Studio was nothing short of a disaster. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere unless they enjoy being treated poorly and leaving with bruises.
Leah did a great job with my brow lamination and LVL’s today. She made me feel very comfortable explaining each step and was very chatty and friendly throughout : I’d definitely recommend booking in with Leah for a pamper!! Thank you!
My first time booking & was looking forward to my appointment… However, I got a voicemail saying I would need to reschedule for the following day because the person who I was booked in for had an appointment. I rang them a few times to ask if I could be fitted in for another time for the same day but there was no reply so I had to cancel. I also emailed asking if I’d be able to receive my deposit back as the cancellation was not from my end but have had no reply since. Disappointed !!
