About

We are a family run bike shop in beautiful North Cornwall.

Story

You don't need to be dressed in lycra from head to toe (would not be a good look for me) or to have the the most expensive bike in the world to enjoy cycling.

So we have attended the shows, talked to the manufacturers and studied the 2017 brochures to bring you a range of bikes (some award winning) that we think will offer something to everyone.

Along with a great choice of bikes, we would also like to be a hub of all things cycling, in Wadebridge. So if you are a local cycling club, school, or just know the trails, please let us know what you do, where you meet and we will promote your club and trail routes either in the shop, on our website or on our Facebook page.

We have a Cytech accredited workshop on site and are members of ACT (the bike industry association) to keep us upto date with all things bike.

Please note: We do still offer a nursery equipment hire service - which is still under the name Babes and Bikes. The new website for this service can be found at www.babesandbikes.co.uk.

On day 1 of Land’s end to John O’groats and had a crash that resulted in some wonky handle bars. Called in shortly before closing time & the chap was incredibly helpful and had me fixed and on the road again in a matter of minutes with no charge. Thank you so much.
6th Feb 2024. Called in by chance, whilst riding the Camel Trial, with a binding front disc brake on a brand new Specialised Creo 2 - The noise was driving me nuts. The staff couldn’t have be more helpful. Bike on stand immediately, problem diagnosed and fixed to perfection within 5 minutes. Advice on further care and maintenance given and gratefully received. What a fantastic business - highly recommend. 5 stars all day long.
I had my damaged bike assessed by the Wadebridge bike shop and found them to be very thorough and professional. They couldn't repair the bike the week I was in Cornwall I was on holiday in the area for only a week but they documented all the damage to enable me to get it sorted quickly on my return from hols. Thank you guys!
Cycling on the camel trail and my brakes fail..friendly guy in the shop found time to have a look for me identifying the problem and fixed it! So grateful readonable charge and my money well spent. I felt the business was professional knowledgeable offering a 1st class service. I highly recommend a visit.
Took my bike in due to a gear problem and the team were excellent, sorted the problem immediately so no delay to my ride on the camel trail. Brilliant place with a good range of bikes and products and super helpful team who I cannot rate highly enough, will definitely be coming back here every time I am in the area and need bike help or supplies.
