"Surrounded by trees and situated right on the edge of the North York Moors, The Voyager is a fantastic place to get proper pub food in Guisborough. With a huge selection of belting dishes on the menu, we’ve got enough to keep the whole family fed for weeks. The question is, what are you going to try first? If you’re coming to refuel after a brisk walk on the Moors, we reckon you’ll want something extra special, enough to satisfy any appetite! Looking for something traditional? Our Marston’s beer-battered fish ‘n’ chips will hit the spot. Or how about steak cooked just the way you like it, and finished with a pile of extra toppings? Check out our weekday deals for even more value, because brilliant prices make good food taste even sweeter!"

Visitors to the area so no prior knowledge of where's good or bad. Decided to give it a go and we loved it. We visited on the hottest day ever recorded sorry, I did feel very guilty the staff were obviously very hot but they were friendly and efficient. The food was great! I had the Hunters chicken which was probably the best one I'd ever had. We enjoyed it so much we returned on the last night of our holiday and again, couldn't fault it. Thank you all.
Nice place, quite a large pub. Has changed the menu and style of food since I was last here. Lots of grilled food now. I had the mixed grill. It was cooked really well. My daughter had a veggie burger it looked just like a meat burger. Food was good and a good selection of drinks. The service was great. I will definitely go again.
Spur of the moment visit early this evening, and a lovely meal. Staff were friendly and polite, food and drinks all very reasonably priced. The Dirty Chilli Cheeseburger was messy but delicious, while the Salted Caramel Cheesecake Sandwich is not a sandwich, but is a thing of wonder. We will be back.
Delicious lunch at the Voyager today. Great beer, food and service. Cheers Kayleigh and Sam
Me and my partner always come here, the atmosphere is always outstanding, the service and staff are always approachable and are great. On top of this, I take my daughter on a walk every morning around 9-10am. Earlier this week she noticed the playground and wanted to play in it, I spoke with a member of staff and they were very accommodating and stated that we could use it as much as we wanted, even providing blue roll to allow me to dry off the slide for her, my daughter now loves and looks forward to playing on their playground. Thank you to the lovely lady who made this happen.
Actually came to the voyager for the first time in years just before the menu changed and only came because where we were meant to go wasn't serving food. I hadn't wanted to come as I had never rated it in the past but I was so pleasantly suprised that I've now been many times, with my family, my friends. The staff are all wonderful and friendly, the place has a wonderful atmosphere and the food is really nice too. It is now our place to go for eating out and I highly recommend it.
It’s been a while since our last visit and I am shocked at the quality of food! It was poor, and the prices have shot up! Portion sizes have gotten smaller and the whole place is looking rather tatty and run down. The chairs were covered in with what looks like bbq sauce or chocolate … well at least I hope that’s what it was . Only positive is the staff are friendly and accommodating. We paid £90 overall for drinks, 5x meals and 4x extra sides. Far too over priced for the poor quality of food and definitely wont be returning!
Came in after the Boro match and Alice and Chiara were as friendly as ever. Service and atmosphere was first class :
Food was mixed, roast was raved about, burgers were good but chips were bland and tasteless. Waited an hour to be served the foor order and the volume of the football during Sunday lunch put me off going back.
Booked online yesterday morning. Arrived at 4.45pm. To be told no recollection of booking. Then to be told no spare tables available. But if we come back at 6.30. We could maybe get a table then. We said no thanks that’s too late. The pub was an absolute mess. Glasses & plates stacked up everywhere. All over the bar top. A man sat near where we were standing. Started to clean up his own table. He removed dirty pots. And then picked up a spray bottle and cleaned the table for his family to sit down. People looked like they were all waiting for meals to be delivered. So we decided to leave. And take our custom elsewhere. I don’t think we will be returning any time soon.
