Recording Studio
Since opening in 2001, The VIP Lounge has become one of the most popular studios in the South West. Its relaxed, comfortable ambience combined with its consistently high standards ensures it is the number one choice for local bands and artists. The studio is now building a national and international reputation, with clients from London, France, Norway and the US having recently used the facility.
Resident engineer/producer Dare Mason has worked with the likes of Prince, Placebo and Soul II Soul before re-locating to Penzance to set up the VIP Lounge. He received a gold disc in 2010 from Warner Bros Norway for mixing "Smear Your Smiles Back on" by Tommy Tokyo.
Adjoining the studio is the fabulous In Deep Music Archive, a treasure trove of musical delights containing over 40,000 vinyl LP's and CD's.
