This local launderette is a gem! While I can't vouch for the washing machines, the tumble dryers are lifesavers when I can't dry my laundry at home. The prices are fair: £8 for large washes, £6 for regular, and £2 for 15 minutes in the dryer as of Feb 25th, 2024. They've got a good mix of machines too: 3 big washers, 7 regular ones, and 8 dryers. The place could use a spruce-up though; it's got that old-school vibe with posters from way back and some paint peeling off. But who cares when the staff are so friendly and the place is kept tidy? Plus, there's plenty of seating while you wait. Just a heads up, they only take cash, so don't forget to bring your coins – there's no change machine. Despite that, it's still my go-to spot for laundry drying days!
This place is great. Especially with the service wash. I had my chef whites cleaned here every week throughout the 2000's. Even larger items like heavy throws, not a problem. Check staffing time of you need change, the machine can be twitchy
No better launderette in the neighborhood. Always got available machines that run smooth and never need to run more than one wash and dry per load. Do come with your pound coins!
Big washing machines over 10kg cost 8 quid, dry 8 towels in tumble cost 4 quid. My machine broke, this place is absolutely life saver thank you
Affordable laundrette, machines were easy to use mainly because I got helped by the kind owner/employee. I also appreciated that she was able to change my £1 coins into £2 for the appropriate machine. Very satisfied!
Change machine broken, sainsbury refused to give me change with purchase. Though the fast food shop helpfully did. Machines only took 2 pounds coins.
It does the job. However, if there was self-dispenser coins machine it would be better
Great! Cleaned a double duvet there and I was in and out with a clean and dry duvet in 45 mins. Highly recommend. There are plenty of signs, but just make sure you check the machine you are using with the coins you have. Pay attention to signs and notices and you'll have no problem. Dryers are awesome!
Clean & tidy launderette, plenty of machines. Quite expensive but everything is wash didn't take too long. Would use again when needed.
Fantastic little laundrette!! Always clean and tidy. The machines are great and the dryers dry very quickly. Competitive prices for the area would highly recommend.
