Apart from the food being amazing, good price and a good choice of menu I would like to praise the staff. I haven't been to a restaurant for ages where all the staff were so kind, friendly and professional. There is no doubt whatsoever they considerably added to the enjoyment and ambience of the evening despite the fact it was a very wet, cold night outside.
10/10 food, good delivery time, ordered late in the day so they only had gammon left, but no problem as it was fantastic. Always recommend this place. Pizzas are good too. Favourite place for date night.
Very high quality pizza! Eat in or take away they're very good. However I was sat in and waited an hour and ten minutes from ordering to food delivery which isn't acceptable.
Lovely place me and my friends stopped here for some dinner and not one of us could fault our meals, staff were fantastic great place to eat, would highly recommend
Beautiful food in a cosy atmosphere. Would recommend booking to guarantee a table as it's only a small venue. But the food and service is fantastic would definitely recommend if going out to eat in Whitehaven. The pizzas are to die for and the service is excellent.
Fabulous service and the food was excellent, best meal out we have had for a long time, good craic with the locals, thoroughly enjoyed our evening
Been a while since my last visit to The Vagabond . It's lovely to say the staff and the food are still 5 star standard! I ordered Chicken Roulade see pic which tasted as good as it's presentation promised....
Really friendly, accommodating staff. The food was beautiful, good value for money. Highly recommend
This picture is AFTER I had got stuck into this heap big roast. So I got a delivery on Sunday of a roast beef lunch; I was hopeful based on the web site but had not girded my loins sufficiently for this fayre. It arrived in different tin foil cannisters some with vegetables from the table of the Harvest festival itself - red cab, broc, carrots, snips, cheesy cauliflower, roasters and mash - and others with half a calf's worth of beef and Yorkshire pudding. I mean, I could have cooked this myself. It tasted just like a roast lunch and there was more than I could shake a stick at. I might have to go for the kids' menu next time. This is exactly how I would have cooked it myself and that doesn't happen very often as roast lunches are pretty personal things. Then a chocolate truffle cheese cake which was just bonkers. It was pretty much lightly whipped cream on a sweet slightly ginger biscuit base with some choc additions. You gotta go here - it's a stonker. BUT salad would have been nice with the baked brie and perhaps some spicy fig confiture. Nice going, vagabonds!
Amazingly tasty food, very friendly staff. Great atmosphere!! That s what we needed after a long hike!! Excellent place. We highly recommend it.
