Stopped by for lunch . Was busy and quoted 40+ minutes for food, but food came earlier than stated. Served hot and freshly cooked. Prices were a little high for simple fare, but enjoyed never the less . Service and greeting was warm and welcoming .
Very good service.food was nice it had taste.well presented.hot.and made room for us on a last.minute.place to sit.well done.
Sharing platter came for 2 on a slate with no other plates but was really good and a big portion I got farmhouse Cumberland sausage which was the biggest I’ve ever seen and again came with a huge bowl of chips And mrs got mixed grill which again was huge, food was good service could of been a little better only because it felt like they’d forgotten about waiting to order food and took 30 min for main to turn up But good overall
Absolutely shocking service , I waited 15mins to order food then a futher 40mins for food witch I never got as I walked out ,everyone else who walked in after me got their food no problem. Been here plenty of times and never had a problem, the attitude from the staff was ridiculous when I asked where my food was , I definitely won't be back
Great place to eat priced reasonably, staff very friendly and food is great with homemade chips can not fault anything I have had or others who have been with me.
Great pub, amazing food. I had the steak and ale pie, proper tasty. This place has parking, but be aware last orders for food is early ish on a Monday
We where a Party of 10.they would not let us put 2 tables together, due to serving issues. Nothing to do with Covid-19. It makes it hard for the waitress to reach. . As we where leaving they set up a table for 12. However the food was nice. Menu's needed a good clean. We did clean ours.
Absolutely beautiful food and very polite and friendly staff , also very helpful . I would definitely recommend the sunny hill pub I can't wait to return .
Amazing food and service as always - it is our family favourite place to go whenever we go through to Whitehaven. Would recommend to everyone and it is well priced with all the food you recieve, and it is always fantastic
Lovely atmosphere. Was squeezed in when we hadn't booked. Relentlessly lovely staff and the food was tasty! Will definitely return :
