Story

The Ugly Duckling Restaurant has an excellent reputation for it's delicious daily carvery lunches which are accompanied by a daily 'special'. We have a varied daytime and evening menu, are children friendly and we are very good value. Large parties catered for plus we have special event evenings when you can come along and try something different.

Great meal as always. The carverys are excellent and very good value. Tonight we had steak and ham egg and chips, both were tasty and good portions. The owner is friendly , as are the staff. Well worth a visit.

Don't waste your time or money...if you can walk the extra 200 yards, go to John's cafe down the road; food is much more fresh and tasteful. Very cheap tasting food, and extremely greasy...paid £22 for 2 brunches and 2 bottles of water, and to say I didn't enjoy it is an understatement.
