Quite a busy car park, as many people use this place for use of the town centre and for visiting the castle.nThe price is very good value and they have a few disabled bays here.nThe parking is one way driving and is easy to manoeuvre in and out.nThere are 2 paying machines here.nThey do have a list of rules also, which you can see in the price board picture i posted.
Free after 6 - busy all day but useful of an evening
Drove around it about 40 times.nDrove away without getting a space.nWould not recommend.
It's a car park, what can you say. On our visit only one of three paymachines were working so queues for it, A council flatbed was parked alongside it with its engine ticking over for quite a while so was a bit unpleasant breathing in the diesel fumes while trying to work out the machine. The display screen was too low so had to bend down to try and read it which was an issue for older people. Location was good for visit the castle and a walk around the town. The charges were reasonable as well.
It's reasonable priced. 40p an hour! If you can find a space that is...
