Ate Sunday lunch here about 5 times in the last few months. My wife & I love Sunday roast and are very fussy with the quality but the staff at the Trumpet Inn have delivered on each occasion and once we move to this area permanently, we will be regulars here. Great friendly staff and a lovely cosy place to visit

Stayed at the camp site though it was good. Great stag do. I would be careful in booking anything in the future though as it looks like a travellers site is being developed next door and if like us you party till the early hours there could be trouble!

Disappointed with the food. Chose Trumpet pie with mash and veg. Pie filling good but pastry thick and hard so I left most of it. Minimal vegetables and not very good.
Certainly wouldn't recommend that choice, not good value for money.
