The place feels like and has a distinct vibe of a family run business. I had a wonderful jacket potato there. The service was really welcoming and friendly. All the facilities are present, too. Would love to come back one day.

Two for a light lunch and freshly cooked with tea and a fruit tea. Hot, quality fillings and fresh salad accompaniment. Delicious, excellent service. Definitely quirky. Roaring fire to keep you warm.

Classic cream teas abd home made cakes in lovely village of Rottingdean. Also selection of sandwiches, roasts, so a nice place to refresh

Lovely traditional tea room. Please support them, they have lovely food, beautiful cakes, outdoor seating. But someone allowed Costa to open next door and is affecting their business. Support them so they don't go away. Just bring cash, or get it out of the cash machine at Tesco around the corner, as they don't take cards
Quirky little restaurant tucked away, great cakes all homemade. Also do alcoholic beverages very reasonably priced. Great cream teas. Park at White horse 1.50 for 2 hours.
A lovely old building c.1680 in need of some TLC. Staff friendly and prompt, nice cakes and light snacks on offer at reasonable prices. I felt that two scones would have been more generous in a £4.75 cream tea, but no complaints.
