Took a friend and his fiancée out to dinner to celebrate his birthday & tried the special offer of 50% off the burgers along with a soft drink each and a sweet. The quality of the food was excellent as was the waitress service, the waitress constantly had a smile on her face and was polite and engaging throughout. The only slight negative was that due to our visit being on a Monday night only half of the restaurant was in use and due to my personal health I would have preferred a slightly quieter table minor point. All in this was a delightful visit and we'll be sure to come back again!
We were from Canada when we stayed in Edinburgh last July and had the good fortune to find this gem. Not only was the food fantastically delicious, the staff was very friendly and courteous. If we ever return, this restaurant will be a definite revisit. Thanks for the great dinner.

Really nice fish and chips, impressed at the option for vegan fish and chips too! Nice friendly staff, thanks for a lovely meal, also enjoyed a coffee after.

Not cheap for a pub but ambiance is quite refined , cocktails are good and there’s a very good selection of wine. Food is also pretty good, and they have weekday deals running all day. Staff is friendly but also very professional, which I personally like. I also love it that they are dog friendly and always treat my dog to water and biscuits!
Been here a few times for drinks. Cocktails are always really nice. Cosy atmosphere inside. Would like to come back for a meal!
Somewhere I often go with my baby since he was young. The food and drink is amazing for the price, staff are all so friendly, welcoming and accommodating even when my baby is having an off day and cries there is no embarrassment which you don’t get many places! My go to place
