Taking food back to its roots, Jez and Niki Barfoot are passionate about home-grown and locally sourced produce, with flavour, seasonality and pure enjoyment at the heart of everything they do. Beginning life in 2012 at the critically acclaimed, Michelin recommended restaurant in the thriving market town of Wimborne Minster, The Tickled Pig has grown into a brand that encapsulates the best that the Dorset food scene has to offer.

Had a wonderful meal at the Wimborne Pig last night 17 9 The staff were very attentive and made sure we were happy with everything. We also felt extremely safe. We will definitely go again and recommend to our friends.
We stopped by at Wimborne for a little tour and came across The Trickled Pig. A little restaurant well-hidden in the city center corner. We were greeted with a lovely smile. The food is simply innovative and amazing. Baby is also welcome. Superb.
We were lucky enough to discover the delights of the Pig, Wimborne during the first lockdown - the burgers became our weekly treat! The service is warm and welcoming and the food is simple and delicious. Well worth a visit and a takeaway!
This is a fabulous little restaurant!! Staff are really friendly, and service is great. The food all 4 of us had, was amazing!! Could not complain about a thing, and will def go back!!! Also, lovely atmosphere!!!
Arrived an hour before we had booked, but we were seated straight away. I had a delicious soufflé followed by a ballotine of turkey with trimmings. K had the beef stew, and we followed up by sharing a pavlova and coffee. Very friendly and caring staff. Only loses a star because of no wi-fi.
Excellent food, we had a takeaway due to lock down, really nice, will definitely be getting another one
