Jenkins & Sons

About

Wood-fired food, British craft beers and beautiful wine and cocktails, in Penn Hill.

Story

Inspired by Sidney Jenkins who built his butchers and fishmongers in the 1920's. A respect for artisan pride and great food and drink. The finest fish and meat cooked over real coals and served with the best British craft beers we can find.

We’re open all day, every day from 9am until it’s late, and dark and we need to sleep, and no later than midnight. You can visit us just for a coffee, or a beer, or a slice of cake or a 3 course meal, basically, whatever you fancy, whenever you fancy.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Extremely accommodating staff. We brought our baby and toddler and felt very welcomed. All covid safety measures followed by staff.
Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere with some great ales and beers, fine wines and tasty food.
Popped into Jenkins yestersay and bought a pack of Chicken sausages along with a pork joint. The owner promised made from chicken breast and no fat, they are extremely lean and very very tasty highly recommend for anyone wanting a healthy sausage. I'm a member of slimming world and will mention in group.
Great venue, good food and lots of choice for drink. Giving it a three for 2 reasons. 1, rugby was playing when we visited, which made it loud and 2, dogs! I accept dogs in pubs, sometimes bars but not in dining areas. We had one sat next to us whilst we were trying to eat. No one asked if it was OK or if anyone was even allergic.
Jenkins leaning into the new normal - friendly staff on the door to guide you and put you at ease. Food is slowly returning to the high quality it once had hence x4 stars. Warm and buzzy atmosphere. Perfect for an Al fresco cocktail of a sunny Friday evening.
Great food, great service, lovely people and a bonus birthday surprise at the end. Thank you for a great evening. X
Lovely staff. Shame that COvid means you can't just walk-in...and yet if you're lucky...you can!! Good atmosphere. Tonight was loud n busy. Good times
Really good food and great selection of beers. Had a fabulous Sunday afternoon with attentive staff and relaxed atmosphere. Will certainly be back.
