We've visited this lovely Pub on several occasions and eaten here a few times. Food is always freshly cooked and absolutely delicious with good portions. I recently had a pork belly dish (see photo - sorry, I'd already started and decided it needed a photo) from the specials menu which is the best I've ever had and beautifully cooked. The online menu is very traditional but there are always special dishes on a blackboard for some true gems - my wife had previously had a scallop dish which again was delicious. There's always a warm welcome and the staff are lovely. The Three Tuns is worth a trip out for and there are some nice walks in the vicinity if that interests you, the walk back to Buntingford is a lot better after a meal here!

The weather being great today, we decided to go for a walk and ended up at this lovely pub where we were welcomed and had an extremely pleasant lunch by a roaring log fire. The food was great and the atmosphere wonderful. A proper English pub in all respects. The dog loved it too!!

Great fire! Nice friendly owner. Wow how it has changed since the 70's Lol...! We will be back for the food for sure, soon. Cheers Oliver

Just popped in for a cheeky mid week meal and pint, would thoroughly recommend the home made steak & stilton pie, superb.
