Seriously, unless you have been born, bred and lived in Buntingford your entire life do not even attempt this place. The landlord and 'regulars' do not welcome anyone who's face they haven't seen every single day for the last 30 years and even seem offended that you dare cross their door to have the audacity and try and put money in the pubs' pocket. I can't review the food or drinks as on entering, the reception was frostier than a glacier, the landlord/barman had all the charm and warmth of Bill Sykes and suspecting we were just about to hear a werewolf howling in the background to the tune of 'Blue Moon' we turned on our heels and ate somewhere much friendlier with excellent service.
