Came here for our noisy family Boxing Day meal. It was a GREAT choice. We all loved the semi private seating arrangement. Food was lovely, service was unbelievable. We loved it. Thank you so much for making it so perfect for us. We want to come back next year too.

Our first time here and highly recommend it. Had the carvery and joined the Emerald Club which gives a discount for over 55s. Great selection of meats and pie, and all thoroughly delicious. We were attended to by Louise, who couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Our new favourite place to eat and we’ll be back for more.

A lovely little pub with a clean interior, along with charming decoration. Staff were friendly and attentive, Carvery was delicious I've been before and had a pie, which was also great. Would happily go again, and probably will!

I have lunch here every week with friends. We always receive a warm welcome from Louise, who is amazing. She greets regular customers by name, remembers their drink and food preferences, and any special requests or needs are always met with no problem. Frank the manager/chef is friendly and always interested in making sure his guests are satisfied and happy with everything. Their special events are good fun and well organised. Great venue and value for money.

I was arranging a dinner for a large group of people and was cancelled on with a couple of days notice by the venue I'd originally booked. The lady I spoke to on the phone when I called to check availability was lovely and said they could fit us in. It worked out brilliantly because it turned out they were turning on their Christmas lights the evening we went, they had decorated beautifully and even had a live singer.nnThe staff were really friendly, the place looked brilliant and the food was really nice, the whole group really enjoyed themselves.
