Visiting the botanical gardens today in Glasgow. Thought we would start with a tea and a cake. The tea has a patio with seating, and as we had dogs we went to sit here. We were told it was closed, dogs not allowed inside and we couldn’t carry the food out. Poor show, visit the coffee van instead at the entrance.Food: 1/5
We sat outside so enjoyed a beautiful view of the glass house and surrounding scenery. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. We were a large party who arrived at different times so I imagine it was a bit awkward for them, but they were all very helpful and served us promptly. The food was delicious with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. The coffee was also very nice and they had a large selection of different types. It was overall a delightful start to our Scottish holiday. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie sandwiches, panini and soup of the day was mushroom when we attended. Also lots of cakes and snacks. Dietary restrictions: Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available.
Went here for breakfast in one of our first few days in Glasgow. Had the most pleasant time. We got the sandwich and soup combo, couple of coffees and a very decadent chocolate cake. The food was homely and the staff were extremely helpful. Definitely a must go to place.
Nice view in the garden, food was good and filling but wish there were more options and more beverage choices as well. Spent about £11 each for food and a soda. Overall a good lunch spot for exploring the Botanic Gardens.Food: 4/5
Great place for a quick meal or afternoon tea. The menu isn't extensive but the quality is good, portions for jacket potatoes were large, prices are competitive and you get waitress service. We went for jacket potato with a pot of house tea with loads of extra water. On day we went, they were only taking cash. Problems with card readers.
Came here with a friend for a late lunch and we stayed all afternoon, the place was lovely and immersed in nature. Relaxing atmosphere, the staff was kind and the afternoon tea was very well presented and high quality. Good choices of sandwich fillings and bread, also for vegetarian and vegan - and good coffee! Definitely recommend for a self-care day away from the noise of the city
Friendly and very efficient service. Caters well for children with kids meals available basic sandwich, fruit, yoghurt and a drink. The cakes looked good. Soup and sandwiches available for the adults and mine was fresh and tasty. No music or art on the walls so it lacked ambience but it's clean, airy and very convenient.Food: 4/5
Nothing special I don’t recommend.
Perfect spot for tea/cake/snacks, plenty of shade and great service. Carrot cake was delicious.Food: 4/5
