Since The Tawa House has come under new management lately, I have to say WOW! how amazing have they turned the place. From the food to the service it was all hands down incredible. They went above and beyond and made us feel very welcomed. The food was cooked to perfection compliments to the chef and there was a variety of different things to try. They even went out of their way to put together an amazing dessert for my sister's birthday! I highly recommend this place, it's so definitely worth the visit.
I thought I'll try this Tawa place out, as I've tried many before. It was nicely presented, only little niggle was, you couldn't really change one of the dishes to lentils or a vegi dish. You get what you given. Good portion sizes, slightly over priced. It's worth a shot of the one off occasion.
Hands down the best place to eat in Batley, everything was spot on. The lamb chops are to die for!!! Nothing was too much trouble, service was exceptional. Really friendly staff and management. Is now under new management. Good value for money too. I'm definitely going to be a regular. Good food and good vibes.
Went with my family of 8 1 member is a baby Great food very tasty. Had the Tawa for 6 Meal and had leftovers still. The quality and quantity was amazing. Price is good considering how much food was on the Tawa. Great service aswell. I recommend the Donner highly !!! Family really enjoyed the meal. Only issues was there restaurant has very poor heating system as you can see we had to use floor heaters to keep ourselves warm. Also parking is very limited mostly single yellow lines.
Excellent and high quality food, we got the Tawa for 2. Very generous portions, took some home as we couldn’t finish it. Chocolate desert also great. Fast, friendly service, will definitely visit again. Highly recommend!
Read about this place. So I visited it on 26/02/22. Believe me I was impressed. From the politeness of the staff, service and quality of food you could not fault them. Pop down you won't regret it!!!
I've not been to Tawa house for 7/8 month's ,on this occasion I brought my friend ,I didn't realise it was under new management ,the food was generally to a good standard,the staff were very welcoming and attentive, the food was piping hot , I would've liked a little more curry on the Tawa ,as it wasn't a lot for two people, other that , everything else was fine ,I will definitely come back
Went for the 1st. Time with a friend and was very impressed with everything. Food was excellent and service was excellent too. Definitely will visit again. Even though it’s a 2hr. Drive. MashaAllah well done. 5*Recommended dishesTawa Chicken Tikka Kebab
Had a large family outing here, 3 families. We initially read the negative reviews and almost went elsewhere but decided to give the benefit of the doubt. I'm glad we did. We booked in advance, the owner was so nice bless her, she went out of her way to offer fantastic service. We ordered 3 of the larger tawas, they all came out in order and not very long after each other. Food was excellent, both starters and mains. Staff were very helpful and made the whole experience great. Highly recommended, would definitely go again.
Authentic Tawa food at affordable prices in a family friendly setting 1. Tawa with a tasty variety of foods: chicken and lamb karahis are beautifully made; the donner meat has a unique / exquisite flavour; sheekh kebabs and chicken wings are nicely made; must try the complimentary kawa drink - all halal and not licensed, perfect! 2. Plenty of seating / can be long waiting time: large restaurant / plenty of seating inside; family friendly; got our food in 20 mins; book in advance always helps 3. Customer service: polite and to the point - Waiters always happy to help with any needs during the meal; the manageress is a gem / new management team 4. Prayer room facilities: for those inclined that way are available, local Masjid 5 mins walk away 5. Busy area with paid and limited street parking options: all safe and secure / we usually park on the street, paid parking at 40p for 2 hours nearby on Bright Street 2 mins walk
