Honestly a good food place to eat, we were lucky enough to get a table but after us they had a long queue going for people to get a table. You cannot eat at the bar as well. The food is great, it's delicious and hearty but it's a bit expensive, I'd recommend taking the Cullen skink soup which is great and the steak and ale pie, they were the best in my opinion. The service is lovely there and all the waitresses we had were delightful and extremely nice even though it was a really busy place. The only downside is the price, for two starters, two mains and a dessert we paid 80£ which is a bit on the higher side of things
Busy I mean packed, normally a sign of the quality of the establishment, so do not let the name fool you. Well planned out, efficiently running restaurant. It does mean that the person putting drinks or the food on your table may differ time to time but it'll be a swift and pleasant experience. Staff know their stuff, smiles all around, fair prices, great tasting food, generous portions not overly but rather in that 'just right' range. We came in famished, left full-bellied and not skint. We couldn't even think of anything bad to say. We'll be coming back. Call ahead to confirm availability.
It looks like an unassuming hole-in-the-wall tavern place on the main shopping street in Fort William, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I ordered nachos and they were delicious! The dinner and drinks were affordable and my group had a great time!

Really friendly staff, food was well priced and good quality. Large portions, traditional pub vibe. We feasted with alcohol for £20pp!! Would return and reccomend.
Got recommendation from hotel and didn't regret we choose it. Wonderful friendly staff. Delicious food, big plates after starter and main we didn't have room for a dessert. Highly recommended
Exactly what we wanted when escaping the rain....lovely warm pub with cosy atmosphere, hearty tasty food, great choice of drinks and excellent service. We shared 3 starters between two and there was plenty. The starters were high. Great value for money and so yummy.
Food was served very quickly, and we was there through busy time. Delicious and fresh! Portion are very big, perfect after a good hike. A nice surprise was out of season promotion 2 for 1. Staff very helpful and nice !Food: 5/5
We had a great dinner here. The staff were so friendly and helpful and took the time to answer our questions . The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Would recommend.
Great Fish & Chips, Great beer and services. If you will have chance, try "The Tavern". I had place directly in "window" and i love it! Also local beer from Glen spean, I tried IPA and Snowgoose, was great.
