I recently visited The Tanning Shop in Manchester, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. One staff member even came over to show me how to use the tanning booth in detail, ensuring I felt comfortable and confident with the equipment. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained. The results were fantastic – a natural, even tan that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend The Tanning Shop in Manchester for anyone looking for top-notch tanning services. Five stars all the way!
The ladies at The Tanning Shop Cross Street really know the meaning of customer service. They will always go above and beyond where they can, they offer a friendly face always and lend a ear when you need someone to listen. It is not a quick in and out service but much more experience based. Sarah is wonderful, as is Leah and the rest of the girls. I would never go anywhere else and happily buy each month from here! You are greeted as soon as you walk through the door, never waiting long and always given a friendly goodbye. I highly recommend this salon, alongside the great customer experience the beds are lovely and the prices fair :
I will say it's a clean shop whenever I have visted however I am disappointed, I joined last year and I wasn't told the package expires after a year. No mention of it, no email, I wasn't even going to join until a lady I spoke with mentioned it but never said it expires so i missed out on at least 20 minutes. I've heard there are better tanning beds in town so I'll find somewhere else after this. What a waste of money.
Have to give 2 stars unfortunately due to my visit today. Have been visiting the salon for 2 years and all my previous experience were excellent! However my visit today is a nightmare - I was told I only got 3 mins prep time before the bed starts, despite checking with the staff if I can have 5 mins instead. Surely when I go down the stairs it will have already taken 1 min which means I have no time to actually put on the lotion & select the mode I want for my tan. With the machine started automatically I can modify the fans which made me super unwell afterwards. I have lots of even tan over my body as a result of rushing to put on my lotion. It’s not a cheap salon but the way I was treated is not okay!
Can I just say what a pleasure it is going into the tanning shop when sarah is working, she is so happy and jolly and always pleased to see you, sarah is so warm and friendly and she is a credit to the shop
i have been every day for 2 weeks & the team here are all excellent. Friendly, welcoming, professional & give great knowledge on the best treatment that you need. the shop is spotless & clean at all times & the beds are of quality The team make this place a success If you go at just the right time, you may even get offered some chips
Lovely experience, Sarah is just so welcoming and friendly! I love popping in before work as it's such a jolly way to start the day. Great shop, with modern beds, clean and tidy - always good tunes and good times.

Great beds and lovely staff, unfortunately the last few times I’ve arrived with a booked appointment I’ve been told there’s a wait of about ten minutes… then ended up waiting for 20+. This is frustrating when on your lunch break and needing to get back to the office, especially considering I’ve booked in advance. If this issue could be somehow resolved my experience there would be excellent - I know sometimes it can’t be helped however it has happened for my past few bookings!
Very friendly staff, clean fresh environment, great sun beds. They always keep up with their tube replacing, I get an excellent tan here.ServicesTanning
