Was invited as a guest of the local Rotary club. Dinner was in house fresh cooked fish and chips with mushy peas, really good, followed by sticky toffee pudding, also excellent. It was a great evening with an excellent speaker. Definitely a good venue for this sorry of event. Bar and serving staff tree really helpful. Oh yes, and the coffee was good too.

I have just visited the Swan and had one of the local homemade burgers and it was one of the very best. The service was attentive and everyone was very welcoming. The surroundings were beautiful and very homely. We will be visiting again very soon. Thank you to all at the Swan hotel.

We popped into the restaurant here for lunch. They have a really good selection of food and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly. The hotel itself (what we saw of it) looked gorgeous and decorated well.

Slow service, we had to fetch someone to take the food order. No one checked during the meal to see if everything was okay. Cheese ordered but didn't arrive. Had to go find another staff member to clear the tables and take a dessert order - which took half an hour to arrive. Only 2 scoops of ice cream for 2, 4 year olds and a choc pud which arrived barely warm. Overall - good portions of rather good food (avoid the veggie burger) but a let down with the service on a reasonably quiet day! Our table of 7 were the only diners in the room!
