Not a bad location if you want easy access to things in town. Friendly and helpful staff. Covid measures in place are good and the room was clean,neat and tidy. The bed was comfortable and we really enjoyed the english breakfast. Overall our stay was enjoyable and good value for money.
Doesn't have the feel of your typical Wetherspoons. Clearly an old pub/Hotel taken over and feel more like a local than a chain. Bit then it also has the advantages of affordable food and drink as well as the new ordering app and other Covid features serving to make this a good venue in this town.
The Swan is a good Weatherspoons. Really nice venue with amazing prices on food and beer. Like the pro Brexit stance by giving customers cheaper drinks and food by buying them from non EU countries and passing the benefits on to the customer. Well done Weatherspoons. Will keep coming back.

Well cooked food and the staff were so helpful and attendant. Had no problems on my visit.

Perfectly satisfactory typical Wetherspoon outfit. Prompt table service but a bit disappointed with the number and range of real ales, possibly due to the climate but I have had better recently in some of their other outlets.
Been here twice, always friendly & helpful Plus.. its a Spoons ..
