Had the Framers breakfast along with a coffee and apple juice for under 10 bucks. Just the beverage along was half that cost making for a hearty and economical meal. Staff were great, attentive and had great patience
Gorgeous food and drinks . Very friendly and polite staff. My son and I visit here regularly after our dog walk . Amazing breakfast!
My criticism is that on the website, it says that dogs are allowed in the tea room, but when we arrived, we were told we had to sit in another part. However, on a previous visit we have seen a dog in the main bit, and there were no signs giving us directions on where to sit. Having said that, the room where we did sit was very pleasant, and the staff giving us directions were amazing.
Staff were nice and the seating area was thoroughly cleaned. The tea rooms are a nice area to sit in and the courtyard provides good shelter from sun and wind. I did feel pricing was poor as were some drinks/food options. I couldn't find anywhere to buy convenient bottled drinks at Temple Newsam. There were glass bottles in the cafe but these are heavy to cart around, quite expensive and have don't have much drink in them. This problem was similar with snacks, they had some nice crisps, but not much else which could be put in a backpack to eat when hungry when exploring the huge grounds of the site.
Don’t do single cheeseburgers only double at nearly £12!. Came without barbecue sauce and was cooked really rare. Would want to know this on ordering as very pink undercooked burgers are not for me. Kid-friendliness: Lots of room for children but would love the indoor play centre to be open! Parking: No problem with free parking no plenty of walks
My 3 year old and I really enjoy Temple Newsam as it's our local park. After spending some time exploring, just before 4pm, we decided to have dinner at the Cafe, only to discover, that we couldn't order any hot food, even though they were closing at 5.30pm. Surly hour and a half is enough to heat up soup and make a toasty!!!
£3.15 for a can of Fanta! Are you mental. Staff are rude, food is mediocre. Had a scone and it was as dry as the Sahara desert I get scones are supposed to be dry but this was another level. me and my girlfriend was robbed in Broad daylight at this place. All tables are uncleared and untidy. Poor service don’t recommend.
Went 2/1/23. It was busy. The grounds were nice but the tearoom and shop were busy with long queues. Prices in the shop have gone high. Take out coffee from a machine was 3.50. Little bits of 'Yorkshire Flapjacks' were £3.50Food: 3/5
Winter wonderland at temple newsam is a must to see. Environmental friendly than queuing in traffic for the Blackpool illuminations. Dog friendly, pram and wheelchair friendly too.
Caitlin and Rachel G were amazing servers. Food was outstanding, drinks top quality and great to see some four legged friends in the cafe! We will definitely be back!! Thanks folks!
