The StyleBar is a Unique Pampering Experience Imported from the USA to Sheffield we offer EVERTHING under one roof....

Story

Stylebar was created because quite frankly we were bored with the same old, generic salons that keep popping up and offer nothing more than an average service!
We want to do something different, we want to create a luxurious and relaxing environment where you can celebrate just how fabulous you are.
The concept is simple, browse over our blow out and drinks menu, pick your style and your choice of drink, be it soft or a little stiffer and leave the rest to us.

I was super anxious to have my hair restyled as I was going for a completely different look. Prior to my appointment I was asked to send in photos and an idea of what I wanted so Holly, my senior stylist was able to have a look and get an understanding of what I was expecting. Communication was fantastic from confirming my appointment a few days prior to actually speaking directly to the salon about my ideas. On arrival you have to pay for parking if your stay exceeds 1 hour which is only a £1. I signed in my car at reception and Holly greeted me. Holly was more than accommodating and took my coat and asked me if I would like a coffee, which was lovely. A young girl brought my coffee with a cookie which is a nice touch, not many if any salons do this now. Nothing was too much for Holly and she asked me throughout if I needed another drink or break to have my coffee. Holly spoke to me for around 10-15 minutes about my restyle and she took me through each step. I was really thankful for this as I like knowing the whole process. Holly gave me honest feedback and we agreed on a style together. Holly took me over to where she washed my hair and was very attentive. The products used are top quality. After this holly took me back to the styling chair and continued with the cut, again speaking me through the steps which made me feel at ease. The whole style was coming together and I was more than satisfied with the outcome… it looked amazing. I don’t usually trust many stylists as I don’t often think they listen enough to what the client me wants and I have been left slightly disappointed in some cases but this definitely wasn’t the case with Holly. After my appointment I asked Holly what products she used on my hair and she sent me a email with a breakdown of how and what she used and also included images. Holly also sent this to my Instagram as I had messaged Holly on this too. The whole experience and aftercare is faultless. The salon is very girly and definitely takes the stress away for a few hours whilst you’re there. I will definitely return and book in with Holly as she is 10/10.Service: Hairstyling
Zoe has been doing my facials for over two years and I won’t let anyone else touch my face, I’m so happy I found her! My skin has changed so much since first seeing Zoe. She’s so knowledgeable and I always get compliments on my skin. I love the glow I get after a facial with Zoe.
Dont bother going to Sharell. Tried to make an appointment - No answer in the middle of conversation. Called the salon - they dont know her prices. Told to message her on instagram. What if soemone doesnt have instagram? anyway… Messaged her if she could send me a price list used to be shared in her highlights on Instagram now its gone asking me what for I need the price list i mean i am trying to book a hair appointment not see Kate Middleton why is it so hard??? And also is the price list now a secret? I was hesitatnt to book with her after my first appointment but wanted to give it a try once again since I dont want to have 5 different styles on my hair. She is not even that great- doesnt understand the difference between warm creamy and ashy blonde and says its the fault of the lighting in the salon.. well it was still not creamy in other lighting, luckily it was better after a few washes so turned a blind eye and did not complain..On my first and it now seems last appointment I was rushing to Work i told her about it and she didnt even bother to ask if its Ok to take photos which I didnt have time for and also I didnt want to have any photos taken anyway. Then she shared them on her instagram publishing my face not even asking if I am fine with that. I felt like The style she did was not to suit my face - didnt even ask if i like it or not - Big waves starting very high which obviously is very unflattering for very round faces it was just to look good in the photos..so to sum up paying so much money you want a bit more respect and professioanlism and Maybe the salon could invest in booking system so that you dont spend 1 week booking cause the people working there take so long to reply which makes you feel like you almost have to beg for an appointment and the receptionist has No clue about prices.Service: Hairstyling
This place has gone downhill loads!! The place looks less glam, no products to buy compared to before. The buzz of this place is no longer there. I used to go here a few years ago regular but now I after today, I wouldn’t go again. The hair cut was good but my curls dropped after an hour where normally they don’t until three days. Must be new owners, I’ll be finding either Heather or Tina to see where they have goneService: Hairstyling
More than highly recommend Sharell. I came from Canada with my weft weave hair extensions already installed. Sharell came highly recommended to me all the way from the UK to Canada to have them maintained while I was in the UK. I contacted Sharell and she didn’t hesitate to book me in. I was nervous at first but Sharell KNOWS what’s she doing and what’s she’s talking about. She literally took me every time and sometimes at last minute I had a disaster or was having hair doubt. Such a sweet personality and understands the insecurities women go through with their hair. Had a couple blow outs with Emma too. Early in her career and already super fabulous, talented and equally as chatty. So much passion in these two girls alone. I often feel very self conscious and intimidated going to salons but the Stylebar is the place to go for comfort for service, for expertise, and a friendly and welcoming environment. Zoe is a dream aesthetician and has been working magic on my skin for a few years. So careful, so precise and detailed, so knowledgeable, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to go near my face! Recommend all of her treatments to everyone!!
Having never been to the StyleBar before, they had no reason to help me out but they did!! I called to explain that I was due to travel to a big event and had a hair disaster. With no time to do a patch test my hopes were fading for a cure but was told to come straight in, despite them being busy, to see what could be done. I was immediately made to feel very welcome and they began to rectify my hair. With a lot of hard work from Henry and Emma, I finally felt I could go away with confidence. My daughter later went to see Ash for her hair to be styled and was again treated so lovely. After a very stressful day we then both relaxed in the nail bar where Angie did a beautiful job of our nails while we sipped milkshakes and wine! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Had 6 sessions of laser hair removal which was supposed to be a bundle with set price but yet got charged various amounts!! The procedures have had no effect what so ever & obvs left me out of pocket. Raised a complaint with them 6 weeks ago now & was passed from pillar to post with still no response! Not letting this go… Further action will be taken…..Service: Laser hair removal
