Story

The Step is a bar, cafe & gallery located on Myddleton Road, an Edwardian shopping street in the Bowes Park conservation area. The Step brings back the excitement and glamour from the street’s heyday with a vibrant arts programme including live music, comedy nights, vintage fairs, exhibitions and much more! We are cafe by day serving brunch & coffee, and bar by night serving freshly prepared, home-cooked and essentially British food with a strong selection of vegetarian options. We have a carefully selected wine list, locally sourced draught beers and delicious cocktails!

Nice place! Food is very tasty. The only reason why I don't give them 5 stars is because they don't do swaps. My friend cannot eat wheat and they could not swap his bread for any other thing. Apart from that, I liked it very much.
Nice spot! Very friendly staff. Good cocktails... very modern twist - which can be fun A little pricey given the location, size and bathroom everyone shares one.
What a great little bar. Cosy and deeply rooted in the community - including the art work on the walls. And check out the tip collectors at the cashier ;-
Small and cozy pub near Bounds Green Station. The pub isn’t with a large selection of beers but it’s not a problem, the food is very good and tasty. Great place for a Sunday with friends!
