Story

At Baskervilles we are passionate about our teas and our cakes.

Our leaf teas are blended especially for us by our master tea maker. We have a range of green, black and white teas to suit every mood and occasion all served in a proper decorative cup and saucer. For those who want more we also have our own Baskervilles blended freshly ground coffee and light lunches.

All our cakes are all lovingly home-baked fresh every day. We always have a selection of gluten free, wheat free and dairy free cakes.
Come and relax overlooking Broomfield Park or outside in our beautiful tranquil garden.

Celebrate a special occasion with an afternoon tea with all the frills.
Buy a gift for someone special from our home ware gifts.
Take home a taste of Baskervilles with our own teas, preserves and relishes.
We always try and provide a choice of gluten free cakes. We also have space available to run arts or crafts events or hold meetings or events.

Baskerville tea shop is one of the hidden gems of London. If you’re looking for a place that brings sophistication and elegance in a chilled atmosphere look no further than this place. The tea house is situated away from the hustle and bustle of London. By far the best place to get scones and they have a great selection from savoury to sweet. It is a haven for many mothers and toddlers some might consider this to be a drawback but I don’t see it that way. If people wish to have quiet time and avoid the mums and toddlers I would recommend going earlier in the day. Cannot fault the staff, very attentive to our needs and made our experience enjoyable. Overall a great experience and a place as I would recommend people to go to ad oppose to the chain coffee shops

Delightfully traditional English tearoom! Scones just like my mum makes! Good service, fairly priced.
Friendly, welcoming and forgiving, we had 3 kids, the most comfortable o have felt in a restaurant. No one gave us a dirty look. But please do other diners a favour and sit at the back of the restaurant . The food was also tasty, well presented and arrived early from when the order was taken. I took away scones and cake also tasty. I will revisit minus my minion just so I can take a leisurely lunch/tea. Highly recommended. Just go.
Lovely tea shop. Family friendly and nice atmosphere. Staff are friendly and service is quick. Nice menu and a great place to have a quiet conversation amongst friends / family. Adorable place, with the best cream tea I found in London so far. They bake their own scones and cakes and everything tastes fresh and home made. It’s located in a lovely area, right opposite Broomfield Park and the staff is efficient and polite. Whenever I have friends visiting London, I bring them here to impress them. It never fails.
They have amazing scones that come in different flavours every day. The teas are always a lovely special blend of loose leaf that comes in a cute teapot and I really love the environment. I would recommend this place highly
Excellent pancakes! Great big space to let the kids roam around in, and it even has a dedicated play area down at the far end of the building. It's in a nice and bright location on the corner opposite Broomfield Park, making it very convenient to drop in after a good stroll or play. The fine selection of teas and cakes make this place a must.
Absolutely fabulous. Had my daughter's baby shower there in the party room. Beautiful tea, with fresh pots of tea coming all afternoon. Lovely sandwiches, hot cheesy scones, followed by scones, clotted cream and cakes. Well done Baskervilles!
