Food lovely however when ordering online there are so many extra charges such as processing fee of 70p, service charge of 10% as well as your delivery fee of £2.50 which I am not complaining about the delivery fee at all then if you are paying by card they have the cheek to ask if you want to leave a tip, which the driver probably won't get. Also they already have the 10% tip box ticked so if you don't know about this and pay by card you are hit with yet another charge. Our total charges for 3 items came to £18.40 but our total bill came to £25.60 meaning charges of £7.20 were added to our bill. I want to add that I am not complaining about the £2.50 delivery charge but all the other charges we are good customers and feel that we are being ripped off, you could at least explain on your website what these charges are for and how you come to the prices.
Just nipped in for chips and chips'n'cheese on way home. Was gonna go to Ali's across the roundabout at 1st, but there was no customers at all and people queuing at the stenhouse takeaway, so that tells me it's worth the wait and Ali's is rubbish. No disrespect meant cos I've never used it, but when you see a queue at the other place it must be good. Didn't disappoint, chips were great. Loved the brown sauce tae. Will defo use again.
Walk in order for a cheese chips. Was told it would take 15 minutes, after being in the shop 5 minutes. If you can't put cheese on chips after 5 minutes you shouldn't be a takeaway.
Not good. Missed out on free 9th meal due to closure for a week. Food cold.

Been my local for a good few years now although last couple weeks the standards have slipped on the chippy side. Think the haggis recently was fried in old oil as it tasted more like fish than haggis...Chips and curry was amazing though and previous times I’ve had mixed kebabs they have been amazeballs!!
