Really really good curries, and the naan breads, accompanying dishes and rice are excellent. Very tasty, decent sized portions, and cooked perfection. The ambience leaves a bit to be desired although its clean and presentable, it could be cosier. Its dry, but you can bring your own alcohol and there's no corkage. Once more, really good curries.
A little star in Ottery St Mary. Friendly professional service, authentic food freshly cooked. The onion bhaji were particularly nice. Nan breads were as good as I have tasted anywhere. Highly recommend.
Outstanding food, every time, with the option to personalise dishes to suit your taste. A pint of ice cold Cobra is the perfect drink of choice to compliment what is always an enjoyable experience. Have yet to find a restaurant that comes close to the consistent quality served up by Shams.

A bit like the morecombe and wise sketch with Andre ptevue ,all the right ingredients not nessesarly in the right order , no flavour ,best bit was popadum won't be excersising my legs to there again a bit of a let down .
Was pretty good.. Closed down a long time ago and completely different restaurant there now! Get with the times Google!
