I took my grandchildren for a late lunch today and will not be going back. Foul language very loud from the customers very intimidating. I ordered a pie, chicken curry and chicken strips. The pie was barely warm and you needed a saw to cut it, the curry actually had a hair in it and the chicken strips were barely warm. I couldn't wait to get them and myself out of there. Will not be returning.

Very helpful friendly staff. I asked for some peppermint tea, although they didnt sell any Shell(Michelle), the team leader, gave me some that she had in her handbag. Also low prices, I purchased a round of drinks for £10.20, including a Kopparberg a pint of theakstons a gin and tonic and a pint of lemonade. I have been here a few times now and will continue to return.

Fast friendly service, great affordable food, good vegetarian option available. Clean and cosy.

A cosy pub with plenty seating areas. Its a good sized pub with friendly bar staff .

I like Wetherspoons generally but would make an exception of this one! Food is poor, the selection and quality of ales is very poor and the staff are abysmal. If you can, go to Crook instead.
