Cheap and cheerful. Went for a Christmas meal with my colleagues and loved it. The food was nice and great value. The staff were nice but the service could have been quicker however it was quite busy. Upon leaving my colleague had his car badly damaged by a leaving customer; the paintwork was badly scratched and dinted. After asking the staff there were no cameras to see what happened, not a great end to the night. I will return with a group because it’s super cheap and nice tasting 👍🏻

The pub itself is nice , clean & well decorated. We visited for Sunday lunch & were a little disappointed with the food. The roast potatoes were clearly frozen & not homemade, the cauliflower cheese was non existent, yes cauliflower was present but no evidence of any cheese sauce. Vegetables were very hard & the Yorkshire puddings burnt. Best thing about the experience was the small childrens area which my grandson enjoyed

Fantastic local pub for a cheap and cheerful meal. Have been here quite a few times since it was turned into a Generous George pub and had some great food. Burgers are always a decent size, pizzas are all made fresh to order, and the ice cream bar is a nice touch! Ideal for family meals or an evening out with friends. Pub has pool table and TV'S for the adults at one end, and a kids play area at the other. Would recommend 😃

This is 1 in a million pub. Good atmosphere, very friendly staff and absolutely excellent food for very reasonable prices. You can take a chance without booking but if there is more than 2 you really should book so as not to be disappointed.
