Came in and had a bit of steak was very chewy and fatty hardly any decent meat on it at nearly 25 quid I expected more the wife had fish n chips and didn't complain. chips were niceFood: 3/5
Really enjoyable night and hard to beat a carvery. Really descent portions. Busy evening so staff were a little stretched but they were all really welcoming.Food: 5/5
Stopped here again, this time for breakfast, have visited many times before, and thought we'd stop for food on a long journey on holiday. Whilst previously the food was great, sadly the black pudding with breakfast this time was like chewing a piece of old rubber boot. Not with paying the extra for. Whilst I could have complained, we were short for time and I'm hoping this was a one off. Other than the black pudding, the food was wonderful, and cooked to perfection. Lovely service and fairly priced.
Stopped here for some quick food. Chose to have the carvery. Sooooo good. Portions are amazing.Food: 5/5
Big portions - food is nothing amazing but not awful. Found it odd that sauces were in sachets in the restaurant. And only given 1 tiny sachet of ketchup each! Staff were friendly but some could do with more training in hospitality Overall, nothing to write home about but not a bad place to stop on the A11
A REALLY nice place for a meal. Have had 3 very nice meals, high quality, tasty and reasonably priced and the service is friendly, helpful and efficient. Going back to try the carvery real soon.Food: 5/5
Excellent carvery with good joint of beef cooked just right for me and decent sized slices. Well cooked vegetables, replenished regularly so they didn't dry, or overcooked, as one finds at some other carveries. Definitely worth a visit.Food: 5/5
Stopped here for lunch en route to our holiday. Throughly enjoyed. Really friendly staff and customers. We took 2 small children with us, no one seemed to mind at all and the food was lovely Food: 5/5
Busy restaurant, staff friendly and attentive food came out fast I had butterflied chicken, sweet potato fries and salad. Portion was plentiful but chicken was dry and chips were soggy my starter of prawn curtail was fine. The hotel waa clean my room a little on the snug side but clean and comfortable
Firstly, the food is good, I had a carvery and this isn't a regular thing for me, but the food was very high quality. I recall the meat across the dishes were very good. The facilities in terms of car parking and restrooms were ample but the Bar and Restaurant fair enough it was Sunday at midday were heaving, and uncomfortably so. In fact it was so busy that we were made to wait for a pre-booked table! People were asking constantly to take our friends chair while he was at the bar, because there was no space and not enough provision for the numbers there. A pleasant meal, but I'm certain that there is better elsewhere and that they could do better.
