Happened upon this place by accident and so glad we did. Great service and the food was clearly homemade right when you ordered. Lovely beers on tap as well. Enjoyed haggis croquettes, stew, fish and chips, and the fresh fish of the day.
What a great restaurant!!!! We were welcomed by friendly staff. They have an extensive menu catering for all. Did was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. So impressed. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you.
The food was excellent. The staff were brilliant. The prices are great. The selection is wonderful. And the atmosphere was perfect. 5 reasons for 5 stars. We were passing through and found this off the beaten track so to speak. What a little hidden gem it really is! You can see the locals who know each other, chatting or waving as they pass, yet you'll feel right at home in this friendly establishment. I'll definitely be back with my family whenever I'm next in Falkirk. A faultless experience. Thanks again for a lovely visit!
Lovely place to eat. Easy to get to, plenty parking. Great menu with a variety of choices. Excellent gluten free options. Staff very aware of risks of cross contamination, happy to discuss. Portions are excellent - not over-facing or ridiculous, but there's no skimping on anything. Prices are so reasonable, amazing value for money. Staff are lovely. Vegetarian options: Various options available, plus adjustments can be made. Kid-friendliness: No issues bringing kids in. Parking: Large car park, but other on street parking available outside car park if necessary Wheelchair accessibility: Main eating area is all on the flat. Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free options. Staff are very aware of considerations around dietary restrictions
Unique Friendly Bar and Restaurant where there's lots choices on Every Menu which are all great Value for money. Smart dressed staff who are most helpful. Open until 11pm too. Best Chef ever. All good is perfectly cooked and his batter is soft and mouth watering. I recommend Cauliflower in batter for starters and Pork and Leek Sausages 3 with brocilli, green beans, carrots, cabbage and excellent onion gravy made with fresh onions Parking: Lots Safe Parking space.
Xmas lunch with work colleagues. Very disappointed there were no crackers on the table and we weren't given a festive menu. The 'special' however was turkey and trimmings which was plentiful, maybe too much on the plate. Roast potatoes were very nice, turkey was tasty, brussel sprouts tasted like frozen ones and there was a massive pile of mash on the plate which I found unnecessary. Soup for starter was very nice however it was way too hot to eat. The service was slow even though it wasn't busy and staff weren't very attentive. We weren't told about the turkey being available, we had to ask. We weren't told about several dishes not being available until we asked for them. Atmosphere was poor.

It was good, not very busy hence the 3 stars for atmosphere, the menu was nice enough the chips were to die for absolutely yummy! Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly the portions were a good size, and my grandson liked the kiddies menu, plenty of choices for him! Kid-friendliness: The staff were lovely to my wee grandson, and the kids menu was lovely
A good, family friendly establishment with helpful, friendly staff. The menu is both varied and extensive so there's a good chance of everyone finding something they'll enjoy and the portion sizes constitute incredible value for money. Food itself is pretty decent too, given the process you pay, though not quite up to gourmet standard. Didn't get a chance to try out the playground but kind of wish I had done! All in all, a very enjoyable experience.
Found this place by researching somewhere to eat near the Kelpies. Really pleased it turned out to be what it said on the tin. It appears to be in the middle of a hosing estate so was a bit off our route. Food is good, staff and service was spot on. Very pleasant experience. Parking: Ample parking, Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up to the door.
