Serving up a range of unorthodox but very delicious pizzas, including several that are vegan. Sit back in the candlelit ambiance and enjoy tasting some of the 80 ciders they have on offer. This restaurant is fantastic for groups with bags of space, or if there's just a couple of you, grab a seat at the front and people watch.
My friend won tickets for a cider tasting and i was delighted to be invited along! MEL was very informative with the ciders and gave US a selection of gorgeous ciders suited to the flavours we told her we liked. The vegan platter and garlic bread were gorgeous, too. We have visited the venue before and the staff have always been friendly and welcoming. The open mic night is also great, it's the perfect venue for live music.
Great bar that serves only ciders and mostly pizzas. When you first enter the space is small, but there is alot of room in the back with another larger bar which wasn't open when I was there and the kitchen. You order your drinks and food at the bar and they will bring the food to you . I tried 6 ciders whilst I was there and love them all. Will definitely come back next time I am in London.
Amazing pizza and garlic bread, great service. I went by myself and had a great time, as the music is good, but not to loud to not allow me to read. Definitely one of my favorite places in London. Did not try any of it, but has a great cider selection.
Pizza is amazing. So crispy and tasty it blew my mind! Great choice of ciders for approx. 5£ a pint. We were on a Friday night and the live DJs taste on music was terrible but further in the back we were lucky not to hear him. If you're in the mood for a really good pizza try this place!
Very nice atmosphere. Very good Pizza. Huge amount of Cyder. I had two sweet cyder. One great, the other didn't match my taste. The browny with cream is a must have.
Avoid the crowds of brick lane and check out this place, especially at the weekend it's really relaxed and not busy. The range of pizzas, including multiple cheesy vegan options, were great. There is a range of bench style seating and you can order at the bar or from a app at your table. The app also gave a great discount; we had two large fully loaded pizzas and a 2 pint cider tasting board for £20 so £10 each. Would certainly return.
Had a vegetarian pie and it came with a decent portion of salad with salad dressing and thick cut wedges of potatoes. Rather tasty and filling for under £10. Love the decor, imagine it to be quite popular during the week
Had to edit my review after our last visit. We were in the smaller room at the front this time, which was fine until the live music started. The artist was fine, but the sound engineer was not. The amplification was so wrong, it was so loud that I couldn't really hear the music or words, just loudness. It triggered a terrible migraine that I still had the next day despite taking medication. We had to leave before our desserts arrived and when drinks had just arrived, and the waiter argued with my husband over not paying for the undelivered desserts while I waited outside. Olivia served us again for the most part and again the service we received from Olivia was great, but it was not Olivia who served us when it came to settling the bill and there the service was not good the same person was also a little rude when bringing a drink earlier just before I had to leave, although that could have been at least partially the music. Unfortunately we won't be going back. The pizza tastes good, but they need to hire a qualified sound engineer and consistent waiting staff. We weren't sure about the idea of pizza and cider and had passed a few times, glad we tried and we'll go back. Nice atmosphere, spacious and light in the back. I loved the one potato two potato pizza which happened to be vegan, and I got it on a gluten free base, one of the best pizzas I have eaten! Light and fresh and delicious. And the service was fab, Olivia gave good cider information and recommendations to a couple of cider newbies.
Food is good, but service is appalling. I went on a Monday evening, when you expect things to be quiet. It was such a pain to get the waiters attention at all, and dishes remained dirty on the table for quite a long time after we finished. No one ever bothered cleaning, so some of us just started doing their work and cleaned our tables instead. Go with a very open heart.
