Much better than it used to be, I've been avoiding it until now. It now does decent real ale at a good price. Very crowded and a bit male on a Sky sports night football and darts both on different screens but we managed to get seats.
We visited the pub for a mortgage event that was run in the morning. The food is Thai and was awesome. Coupled with a drink and pub atmosphere you got a perfect mix here. Cosy and friendly helpful staff. Worth a visit for sure
This pub has the best and most authentic Thai food you can find in north London! Pad Thai goes surprisingly well with an icy cold pint of Guinness — perfect combo!
They are open!!!! Super clean and now with a beautifully refurbished beer garden Had my first pint of Guinness in 3 months and it was a beautiful thing Covid precautions are in place and the staff are as lovely as ever. It's my local now I'm chuffed to have a proper English pub down the street. Sports for all sorts, plenty of indoor/ outdoor seating and a great mix of locals.
Been drinking here for years but in October and there's nothing wrong with the pub but the Sunday roast I had was one of the worst I eaten, unfortunately I was very hungry and eat some but later was sick. Worst yorkshire pudding which I left ,no vegetables just a skinny piece of carrot, beef was out of a tin.
Very friendly staff place was clean and had a relaxed atmosphere didn't mind making me coffee as I don't really drink alcohol on week days garden is lovely to sit in will come back to The Springfield
We love the Thai kitchen there with my kids after school sometimes we go to have a bite
Just ordered aThai veg curry & veg rice ...absolutely delicious,a variety of fresh veg & so tasty!
Very good pint of Draught Guinness served up by friendly landlord on our recent reunion visit.
Lovely place to meet friends and have a quick after work pint
