Popped in for a quick bite to eat, waited approximately 15mins for food to arrive which is good for a Sunday afternoon, staff were friendly and the place is very clean. Well worth a visit.
Had a lovely meal last night for my mother in laws pre 80th birthday. Had booked a few weeks earlier to make sure we had a table. They were very busy but all our mains came out straight after each other, food was very well cooked and tasty. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would recommend .

First time going to a "Generous George" and I left feeling pretty confident that I won't be visiting another! Two mains and two cans of Tango came to an eye watering £32! I also found the portions to be small for the price. Ended up stopping at the chippy on the way home as the food wasn't filling at all. Nothing at all "Generous" about this place. They also fail to list the prices of drinks on the menu! See photo I'm pretty sure the food only added up to about £24, meaning it cost £8 for two cans of Tango... No wonder they don't list the prices!!!
What a fantastic meal our steaks cooked perfectly great quality food plenty of it all cooked well nice-staff we will be back
What can I say? Apart from just fantastic! Food is unreal and the prices are so reasonable. A really friendly atmosphere and a great local community pub. The staff are all so attentive and friendly. The management team should be really proud. Would highly recommend to all
Bar staff were friendly, Phil was great in finding us a table. Steaks were over cooked on the grills medium but were well. Overall good atmosphere and food was served quickly.
My starter and main was nice it's just a shame salad was missing on both our starters and with his fish the bread was missing. I'm not one for complaining but if the staff who collected our stuff had asked how it was they'd of been informed. I won't go again but for the money it was ok.
Nice friendly atmosphere with a mix of people dining and drinking. Nice decor really love the jade green tiles on.the wall behind the bar Nice staff. Well worth visit. Never had a bad experience
Place was freezing cold. Ordered a round of drinks online for table service. 20 minutes of waiting and had to go and see what was taking so long. One lady behind the bar left to serve all customers. Hadn't even started our order for 9 drinks. The lady told us she had seen the order but hadn't started it yet because she was on her own. Whilst waiting, my food went cold. Won't visit again
