Ordered the three course festive, we had our starter but then had to wait for an hour after for our main in a restaurant that wasn't that busy. That being said, upon learning that there was only two servers on one having to come back early from medical issues due to staffing issues I can fully understand that they were under a lot of pressure. I can't remember the names of the two servers that I spoke with but they deserve a lot of praise and respect from their manager for keeping the place going. The restaurant itself is a lovely setting, open and light with a relaxed atmosphere. I deeply hope that they find capable staff to strengthen their team and then I will be willing to give five stars across the board. I will be returning in the future as the food is very good.
The food here is at a fantastic price. Me & my partner had both of our lunches for under £10 not to mention that they were huge portions and he had to finish off what I couldn’t eat! Parking is free for up to 3 hours which gives you plenty of time to eat and chat. Food was lovely and filling and the staff were really polite and helpful. Would recommend! Thank you all.
It was pretty average food nothing outstanding but nothing bad by any means. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food arrived relatively quickly and was hot. It's probably the best Brewers Fayre I have been to in the area and it was a large group I was in as well so if you want cheap and cheerful you can't go wrong here.Food: 3/5
Myself and my friend visit often here for a catch up. We are always greeted with a smile when we arrive. Tom the manager is very approachable and friendly. Food is always good and definitely value for money. Pub is always clean and always seems busy. Kid-friendliness: Children’s menu available and also an outdoor play area. Parking: Lots of parking space Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access, there is a ramp at the entrance. Floor is open plan and easy to get about.
This is a really lovely pub - much nicer than I thought it would be if I'm honest! The team were super friendly and really well organised considering we were an office party of 12 coming for our Christmas party! Everything went smoothly and the food was great. It was nicely decorated inside with elegant Christmas decorations. I imagine we'll be back next year for a Christmas party too! Dietary restrictions: My coeliac colleague was able to enjoy a meal that was specifically catered to her dietary needs.
Good value meals. Good quality. Excellent service. Highly recommended.Food: 4/5
We will start from the top. The food was ok, but very small portions. The service was polite, but very very slow. The atmosphere. Well that was spoilt because the place was cold. The heating was not on, and that was very disappointing on a cold Sunday afternoon. Would we go back? Possibly, but based on that experience probably not. Apologies, but because of the above we cannot honestly recommend any dish.
Great pub a lot nicer than the usual brewers fayre establishments as you seem to have a bit more room. Food was good for both adults and kids. It is table service if you like that sort of thing. Just means your waiting around to order and then waiting to pay at the end, I prefer to just order at the bar and leave when I'm ready. It does have a pool table which is a plus as you don't get many of them around in the eating places anymore so was happy with that. All in all was a good experience and would go again.
Every time we been here it's been brilliant the staff and food have been great. We love the location and the building is very comfortable to sit in and relax. Plenty of choice on the menu and a good potion on the plate. It's become mine and my mums favourite place to eatFood: 5/5
This is our second time at this restaurant as a family and to be honest im quite disappointed. Both times that we have been the food has been stone cold and a few items luke warm at best, however, the first time we were compensated for this hence the second return but i can tell you there will not be a third. Generally a poor experience with this second visit, as mentioned the food was cold and who i can assume is the manager of the place was quite rude and not professional at all. Its a real shame really considering the lady working with the glasses is really nice and polite and looks to hold the fort down. If this lady is not the manager, she should be.
