Driven past the sign so many times over the years and never stopped for a bite to eat. So glad that we did, great spot to eat, nice menu, something a little different to the normal pub grub. Big restaurant, friendly attentive staff. Nice a quirky, bit of days gone by with the curio's and a fine display of baseball caps. Great for younger kids as well, nice seating area's for those bringing the youngsters. Value for money 8/10, would I go again, yes.
Great spot for a bite to eat. Good proper food well done. Very friendly staff, the place is clean. Kids love the hats on ceiling and have left hats there which is a bit of fun. Recommended.
Been to The Snailbox a couple of times and the food is delicious. Staff are great and service is excellent . Only thing was the Thai green curry doesn’t taste like a classic Thai curry. I had prawn stir fry and was very nice. Spectacular views up there when you visit. Would recommend.
Excellent food, atmosphere and staff.. was our 1st time there but won't be our last... next time we'll book to stay over. The Guinness looked amazing!
You can't mention the snailbox without mentioning the decor. The hats are brilliant and there are so many. It's a really fun place to eat, and the idea of swapping your own hats for snailbox ones is great. The food was generally quite good, the soup and brie starters were delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was amazing! The lil chocolate cups holding the ice cream were so cute. The only disappointment was the sirloin steak, it was very tough and quite difficult to eat. That said the fillet steak was lovely.
Wonderful food,Atmosphere and staff who make everything special. Phillip and Stephen make a fabulous team. We've had many a family party here over the years and always have a brilliant time. Food is fantastic. Mitchell had a fantastic night.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food although far too much garnish with the surf and turf could have pulled it back way more steak was perfect as where the prawns. The chicken ceasar was in fact perfect the best I've had. Drinks a bit pricey over all loads of nostalgia and interesting things to see aswell as the roof of hats 6k of them . Dessert was awesome hot sticky toffe and jelly and ice cream almost rolled out the place . Only faulted by the excess garnish that went to waste .
Finally got to visit this spot and just wow. The character of this restaurant is unique, its welcoming, friendly staff just have that way with their guests/diners that make you feel like you are at your favorite aunts or your best friends. It's the Irish welcome that so many places have lost. How staff interacted with the kids was just really nice. The food was just delicious, service was excellent and the view... Wow. I highly recommend. The kids were in awe of all the caps 6645 to be precise.

Has it all ,Excellence at its Best this is a Hidden Gem ,try it and feel the warmth off the Staff and the View's from your Table along with 5 Star food you will not be disappointedFood: 5/5
