Great location, close to centre within a short walking distance, close to multiple carparks not too expensive but make sure you follow carpark rules otherwise they will ticket you. Service and staff were okay just a little slow. But overall a great venue.
Great meal, just what you'd expect from a Weatherspoons. Food was good, served quickly for the price you can't complain.nNoise level was good, we really enjoyed it
Great location. Huge beer garden.nnAs a hotel, the room was average. The bathroom had no obscurement on the windows so you either had to sit exposed overlooking the beer garden or pull down the blind. Also, im guessing the staff quarters were directly above us because we could hear staff walking about and their washing machine entering it's spin cycle.nnThe receptionist was lovely and welcoming and helpful. We left her with a smile on our face as we headed to our room, even though she had just come off the phone to a difficult customer.nnFor breakfast the next day, the place was very busy and only 1 of the 2 coffee machines was working, so there were long queues at times to get your caffeine fix.nnHowever, the town itself is wonderful and this was a great location to explore it from.
Pretty standard Wetherspoons - food is pretty good. Atmosphere is nice, with bookshelves on the walls.nHad a bad experience at breakfast however. Ordered some pancakes but they never arrived, even after reminding the staff about it. They gave us extra toast+jam instead - if they were out of pancakes, they could have just told us.nAlso we added extra hash browns to the order, but they weren't there when the food arrived...
Very very yummy food, not sure my cheesy chips could be called that but ah well. They did refuse my mate cause he has a lisp and they said he was too drunknAtleast I got to go home and play Minecraft early
