​Absolutely world-class service. From start to finish, the staff member who looked after me was incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect without me even having to ask. It’s rare to find such a high level of genuine care where nothing is too much trouble. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
Came here for the first time a few days ago ago with close friends and my children.nThe building itself was great with a cosy log fire going, it has a lovely feel to it.nThe food was amazing and came out in good time, the service was faultless and cheerful.nA very pleasurable experience for the whole family and can’t wait to go back there.
Simple but very well prepared, tasty food. Lovely burger. Friendly service. We booked and chose our dishes in advance but it still took nearly an hour for our main dishes to come out then didn't have time for coffee etc as our table was needed. Would have been 5* with out this.nA lovely little country pub in the middle of urban sprawl. Would definitely return.
Great old style pub! Low beams and a big fire place!!nHad the rack of ribs and all the trimmings… a proper feast!nNot too bad on the pocket either! Although still a bit pricey!! But it seems to be impossible to have a pint and some food for less than £20 nowadays!!nOverall… if you are in the area, it’s well worth a visit!nWell done!
We had a table of 16 and was put in a nice area of the pub to cater for this. The meal portions for Starters, mains and dessert were all huge. So tasty too. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
