We went out last night at The Shimla Palace with an open-mind. Our favourite Indian restaurant has closed recently and we've been looking for a replacement. I'm happy to report we've found a winner! Food is excellent, service is very good and staff are warm and friendly. I think the staff were surprised by the way my 11 year old sons demolished his Madras curry. We shall return 😁

A deceptively large Indian Restaurant with plenty of staff attending to your every need. We elected to have just main courses and there was a comprehensive choice at reasonable prices. Didn't take too long to arrive and having finished these we were too full to order sweets. Can get busy so advisable to ring or book - good reputation in the area.

Takeaway is good plus 10% off if you cool. Only eaten in once and the ambiance was a bit weird. Prefer takeaway.
