About

Coffee Shop, Bar & Live Music Venue : With super fast wifi & great coffee, it's the perfect place to hot desk - or head down for Happy Hour from 5-8pm and stick around the music later. All ages until 7pm, 14+ afterwards. Open from 12pm Mon - Sat.

Story

The Shed is an iconic music venue located on Yeoman Street in Leicester's Cultural Quarter.

Established in 1994, the venue has seen many great acts perform and go on to play much bigger stages. We wish the walls could talk.

Kevin Holyland lovingly ran the venue for 23 years, and has now passed the torch on to new owners.

The Shed is now open from midday Monday - Saturday, with an array of hot and cold beverages served (plus happy hour and pre-gig deals now exist).

Great little venue - the sound quality was very good, an intimate setting to watch live music. Beer was also served in real glasses, no plastic nonsense here! Beware the nearby NCP car park charged me 13 fecking quid though to leave the motor for not much more than 2hrs.
Friendly staff and great venue to watch live bands
Fab place. Great live gig, drinks cheap and staff were great. Would defo go back. Love all the upcycled stuff.
Great autistics from loud live music. Though small upper room with bar, seating & stage, it is good for small bands to get recognised! #slowreadersclub #IamLono
Certainly a more relaxed atmosphere to hear music than it was before. My son played piano there that evening.
Brilliant venue and all round cool place to be.
Pretty rad little venue. Small and sticky. Reasonably priced beer considering the location. Good rock night, the bit we saw. Main stage is oddly tall, but reasonable sound. Loos were clean with plenty of stalls for ladies. Loo seats would have been nice. Good beer and range of other drinks for the kind of venue. Will go back.
Ambush is always a great event, and you can even rent the top and bottom floors. The bottom floor we hired, for £90+vat at 20%. The top floor is £115+ 20%, but these prices can vary depending on when and the length of time you hire them for. I would highly recommend!
Nice place to chill and get some work done. Cool venue too for gigs. We hosted a few gigs there before now and it's always fun.
