It's a amazing pub restaurant with good atmosphere and amazing prices. Like I have today, £13 for proper grill mix and pint of Leffe, wow. Taste not a bad and one off best beers in world for this price.....so, highly recommended.Food: 4/5
Wonderful place for my "first pub". So new comparing to old pubs, but very nice. Big place, comfortable and very good meals! We will come back. SureFood: 5/5
Just like to say a fantastic and big well done to the staff at the Sheaf Island. It's a mach day atch Sheffield United and the pub was heaving with supporters. I was served quickly and efficiently even though the queue at the bar looked quite large. When the match supporters started to leave the staff leaped into action with military precision and organisation to get the place ship shape and ready for action. Well done to the managers and staff for your dedication and hard work.
Nice appearance on the outside with a selection of indoor and outdoor seating - nice selection of cocktails, spirits and beers too. The service was very slow when ordering through the app, but a lot faster when we ordered directly at the bar. Parking: Limited parking available on surrounding streets
Not like the other and usual Wetherspoons: absolutely calm and collected. Food quality is good and the staff are helpful. You can enjoy your food and drink both inside and outside the place.Food: 5/5
Visited this spoons twice while I was on a trip away, first visit was brilliant, good food, drinks and friendly staff however the second visit not so much so, there was a tall young blonde lady serving behind the bar who was absolutely lack luster at her job, the SLOWEST service I have ever received by a mile, 10 minutes to pour 2 gin and lemonades?! I then opted for a bottle of Modelo and had to painfully watch the girl try and rip every piece of foil from around the lid for honestly about 5 minutes before removing the lid and handed it to me, completely ridiculous and unnecessary, staff like this are what give businesses bad names. Never in a million years should someone like that be working the bar.
Food was a bit ropey. Burger was ok but the steak pudding was quite empty and the chips tasted like the oil was getting a bit long in the tooth! Won't be rushing back.Food: 2/5
It's a weatherspoons so you know you'll get similar quality to others which is quite good albeit slightly simple. The food and drinks are cheap, they come out quickly and they taste good. What sets this place apart is the service, everyone was helpful and especially the lady that seemed to be either a manager or a team lead maybe, super helpful. I'll be back for sure.
Excellent food. Fair prices. Nice sitting area outside and inside. Staff very good. Lively and always bustling with nice crowd.
