An impromptu stop for breakfast I found the pub empty save for the handful of staff busily getting the place ready for the days trade. Eggs Benedict and a coffee were ordered and delivered in reasonable time. Bagel, bacon and poached eggs with a generous serving of hollandaise. Very slightly over done eggs was my only gripe but altogether nice breakfast with a good hot coffee. Nice decor, helpful staff and open early. Will call again if I'm passing.

Nice, bright decor. Not quite chic (too many silk and plastic plants.) Fountain in dining area good idea but somehow lost in eclectic mix of colours and patterns. Get the idea of contemporary querkyness but somehow doesn't quite come off as quality is not there.  Food okay but Sunday lunch meat poor, roast potato soggy. Deserts okay, starters probably best part - good whitebait, prawn cocktail. £8.95 reasonable price to pay for main.

Visited this evening with my family for an early evening meal. Always liked it before the referb but it really looks 'The Business' now. Lovely food, good staff and a nice vibe about the place. Lots of young families enjoying it early doors. Great for a pub meal 👍

We have been several times since the refurbishment and the wait has been well worth it. The menu is very good with a wide variation and very good value.

Good food, great rooms and friendly staff. I would have no hesitation in going back. Free WiFi that actually works and free parking. wish all pubs were like this.
