Wow! Fantastic food, lovely team and delightful beer. What's not to love? We were nervous that we wouldn't get a space so we headed there early 1730 and we were the only people there for a short while. The food was absolutely excellent. If you're in the area, you must visit. p.s. DOG FRIENDLY!!
Visited with my wife and youngest son on a Tuesday lunchtime. We ordered some great beers from Verdant and there were plenty to choose from. We ordered some of the tapas dishes, going for the crab fries, fish tacos, fish finger butty and monk fish scampi. All were great dishes. Service was great as well even though it was super busy in there. Well worth a visit, get there early though to avoid disappointment.
Absolutely brilliant! The food is delicious they even made a little fish n' chips for our 4yr old, our favourite was the crab loaded fries and fish tacos. Food came out very fast. Also if you're a fan of Verdant beer, you'll be happy for hours! It's a tiny place with no reservations so try to get there early to get a table.
This is what you get when you marry a craft beer tap room/bar with quality modern British cuisine. Had a brilliant dinner here. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Eight Verdant beers on tap and a few wines, ciders etc on the menu. Went for six of their small plates to share between two hungry people. All of them absolutely fabulous. Fish always cooked perfectly, lots of flavours going on, great presentation. Comes at a price, yes. We had two beers with it and spent £70. But it was worth every penny!
Absolutely superb, represents everything craft beer is about. First is the beer, 8 lines of the freshest Verdant beer you'll find in the UK with a nice balance of ABVs and styles. Pretty sure there's cans, bottles and other drinks available too; however, when the beer is this good you'd be mad not to go for it. Second is the food, small plates of some of the best seafood I've ever had served with modern twists. The fish tacos are fresh and utterly delicious, the fish finger sandwich is superb and really quite big if I'm honest. Last, but by no means least was the guy who served us, friendly, easy to talk to, laid back but professional, like chatting to a mate you've known for years and an absolute credit to Verdant. Can't recommend this place enough.
Simply the best place to eat and drink in Falmouth. Atmosphere is great and such a cosy little place right on the seafront. 5 of us came for lunch and stayed during the whole day all the way through to evening service. Staff were nothing short of excellent and the food was phenomenal. I never normally go to the same place for a holiday but we keep coming back here every year and I have to say it is all because of this place!
Amazing. Great beer and smallish plates. The crab loaded chips and fish tacos were excellent. I'll be dreaming of eating the dark chocolate ganache for a while. Really is a place you have to visit if you are in Falmouth.
Food here was really nice. Came here for lunch and they did a small plates offering. Great for sharing with friends as you get to try a bit of everything!! We ordered the fish tacos, scallops, and crispy monkfish although forget to get a pic of this because I was so hungry!!. Highly recommend this little spot. The craft beers were also delicious- recommend Random Rules
Fabulous beer brewed just down the road in Penryn. Fabulous local seafood served as small plates - lobster roll and crunchy new potatoes highly recommended. Great service from friendly staff. Very highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.
Delicious, fresh seafood in a cozy relaxed environment. Fantastically tasty beers and really friendly & welcoming staff. Would definitely recommend stopping in while in Falmouth!
