With a prime location on a small pier, it's got the best views. It has inside and outside eating areas. Sadly I found service to be a little slow, and the hot chocolate cup to be a little on the small side vs other establishments that are offering it for this price range. There were 3 selections of cakes available, all looking very nice but none were covered, and all open to the elements. Sadly I declined, and I hope that cake covers are purchased in the future..
I have been wanting to visit for a while, finally made it for mother's day, Received a warm welcome, it was really busy, but the team made us feel at home instantly, they was aware our daughter had a dairy and egg allergy and put everything in place so we could relax. so many restaurants don't do this The food was outstanding, delicious and cooked to perfection. The ladies that was working that day was clearly very busy, but nothing was too much trouble. Cannot wait to return. Thank you
What a great find. Stopped here recently for coffee and cake. Such a great location. The cafe was busy with people sat inside and out. The staff were very friendly and despite it being busy we didn't have to wait long for our order. The coffee was hot and the cakes tasted delicious and fresh. Everything was clean. The cafe is also dog friendly so an ideal place for us to stop on our walk, with a lovely view. Will definitely be visiting The Pier again.
What a lovely cafe. Popped in for mud morning cup of tea and cake like you do, very nice, service excellent, staff very helpful, clean. Lunch menu looked good may have to go back. A must try.Food: 5/5
Came in a tad bit before they were actually serving lunch but they were kind enough to accommodate my hunger driven earlyness. Super tasty crab sandwich, great view and friendly staff. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Beautiful cooked to perfection English breakfast very fresh. Lovely customer service amazing decaff mocha. Beautiful sea view's great price. Highly recommended will be back again.
Great food. I can recommend the crab sandwich. On the downside, there are no toilets in the restaurant . The chips were not gòodit took ages to be served no apologies for delays. More interested in talking to each other and being on their phones.Food: 4/5
It was almost flawless! Such a delicious breakfast sandwich followed by a big slice of their lemon & poppyseed cake. Reading about Pier Cafe winning awards we had to visit & spend the bit of extra cash to have a tasty breakfast. Falmouth isn't the cheapest place for a good breakfast anyway so if you get any chance to go here then please do it! One small thing I have to mention - it does not take away the food, staff friendliness or overall rating - is the layout of the tables in the second, back room. It was very cramped & as the tables filled up, people had to literally brush past us to get around the other tables & out of the cafe. It was uncomfortable to eat & then have people hit against you as they tried to squeeze by. Of course, as a business you want to get as many people in as you can, but maybe a little re-jig of the tables could fix this... Anyway, food wise it was BRILLIANT! :
Had a short holiday to Falmouth with my partner and were recommend here by the ferry staff. Ended up ditching the B&B breakfast for this two of the four days of our trip. Delicious, homemade or home-sourced food. Incredible view of the harbour, live music and friendly atmosphere. We will certainly be back!
Went here to celebrate with a couple who'd just got married in a low key ceremony at the Old Post Office in Falmouth. Blueberry "Wedding" cake and coffees all round, with Falmouth Harbour as the backdrop on a beautifully sunny winters day. Perfect for their destination ceremony. Food: 5/5
