Story

This is the Facebook page for the Savoy Cinema in Heaton Moor, Stockport, Cheshire. We are a family run independent cinema with the latest projection and sound systems mixed with classic style, comfort and service.

We have a full bar and drink can be taken into the auditorium so you are able to enjoy a glass of something chilled whilst watching the latest releases, classic films and satellite performances of plays, ballet and concerts.

Booking is made by telephone only, no advance payment is necessary, your name will be taken and you pay when you attend the film selected. This allows you to book multiple films and bring your friends without having to concern yourself with the finances!

I have been looking for a cinema like this for years. A theatre that embraces it’s history, all while offering a cosy and sophisticated film experience. Anywhere that offers hot drinks and affordable snacks is an instant winner for me also. I shall never go to an overpriced multiplex again!
Just had a brilliant night out at the savoy. I felt very safe, very clean and Great service from the staff. Good to be able to see a movie again.
Stepping back to a calmer world. Plush seats more leg room than anywhere I know. Take your drinks or popcorn through each chair has a mini table rest.
Great little cinema everything you need without the charmlessness of a chain!
