Fantastic food, great prices. Only annoying part was the gulls and people feeding them. Maybe some signs would be good, other than that fantastic!

Enjoyed our alfresco lunch from the Sandgrounder. Our meals were very tasty and not at all greasy which was a bonus. Would recommend a visit when you are in Southport

Good food and service thanks from all

I live in Southport and have tried every chippie here and the ONLY place to eat fish and chips is the Sandgrounder. My very large family eat there when they come visiting which is often. Since taking cards the queue is quite long sometimes but would rather queue than go somewhere else.

Pre Covid they were lovely, but on my visit today I didn't see that usual friendliness at all.  In fact I'll find somewhere else to eat next time. I know we're all stressed but show a bit of common sense please

First time I been to Southport for many many years. This place is literally just off the beaten track and hit the spot with lovely chips and the guys serving seemed to be enjoying their work and friendly.... what more could you want?

Just had a beautiful tasty 'chippy picnic'. Fish & chips hot, tasty and perfectly cooked... Service was good too Thanks Sandgrounder.

Thank was a great day. And your food was first class enjoyed every bit. Will be calling again when next in southport.
